July.2013: Mirela, Brian and Family
Ross cabin is a great place to hang out with family or friends. We stayed there for one week in July and had a very relaxing time. The cabin is lovely and large. It has a huge living room, three bedrooms, kitchen with all you'd need, and as a bonus, a gorgeous deck--you can dine outdoors, stargaze into the night, or simply enjoy the sun. We had some beautiful hikes in the woods, relaxed by Lake Alpine and Beaver Creek, visited Calaveras Big Trees State Park and had a blast! I already recommended to a couple of friends this place and will return in winter too!
December.2010 Edda, Hans, Freya and Lykka (Menlo Park, CA)
We stayed at the cabin with our 2 daughters 4 and 6 yrs old over Christmas 2010 and
had a wonderful time. The cabin is very cozy with lots of space to play and relax, a
nice kitchen and a very comfortable living room. We had so much snow that we could
build a snow cave outside, played around the house and warmed ourselves again
afterwards at the nice wood stove in the cabin with some hot chocolate. The little
walk up to the cabin was not too far and good to manage even with little children.
Bear Valley Cross Country and the downhill area is very close by. Thanks so much for
letting us stay at your cabin.
